If you’re familiar with Zipline, you know that it’s original creator, binarydoodler, has not updated it since 1.7.3. However, mod updating legend Coupon has come to the rescue and updated it for 1.0. with the help of aSakofDonuts.
It’s a great mod that introduces a lot of things that really should be in vanilla Minecraft, among which are ropes, ziplines, rope bridges and etc.
First off, let’s take a look at the ropes. Ropes are crafted with 2 string, and can be placed on any block, or attached to any existing rope to make it longer, meaning you can place a rope in the middle of a hanging rope to make it longer, instead of having to always click the bottom end.
They are climbable, and have a complex physics system that is accompanied by a nice wobble effect. You can craft ropes and arrows together to create the obviously named “Arrow with Rope” which can be fired from a normal bow and leaves a rope trail behind and connects to the block it hits. It’s a great idea implemented pretty poorly – it connects where it shouldn’t, can glitch out, and is all-around useless.
You can craft a handlebar, which you right click with on the rope to zipline. It’s a cool and useful feature.
Then we have the rope bridges. Traversing between mountains in Minecraft is often very tedious due to you either having to climb down and back up, make ugly dirt bridges, or put in a lot of work to build a good looking bridge using fences, plates and iron bars.
You craft them with ropes and planks, so they are cheap, but they are very useful, and look nice connecting mountains. They are, in my opinion, the best feature of the pack, even though the ropes are more useful.
With this mod, you can also craft sheets using wool, which have the same physics as the ropes, and can be used to create tents and similar stuff. It’s not the most complicated edition, but it does come in handy for decoration.
You can also place leather. Another purely decorative feature, but a welcome addition to the mod nonetheless. And that is it. Even though this mod may not be a very feature rich package, it manages to improve your Minecraft experience significantly, without being too confusing. You can download it here.

You have to put class files and zipline thing to minecraft.jar you dont need and you cant install it just by creating new jar file.
you have to delete the META-INF folder from your minecraft.jar

Has anyone had the same problem I have? Evertime I launch a zipline the line will appear but once it has settled into place it will break for some odd reason.
Amazing mod in multiplayer clan wars you can attack to castle by just shooting arrow with rope in there.
Hello, I noticed u guys have problems with this mod.
So, here’s how to download
1) Download the mod (duh) and modloader http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v100-risugamis-mods-everything-updated/
2) open these files with winrar/7zip
3) open C:\Users\Acer\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin
4) right click minecraft.jar and open with winrar/7zip
(might not show .jar but yeah.)
5) delete META-INF
6) Copy and paste the files in modloader and the mod into the minecraft.jar file
7) close the lot of files
8) open minecraft
9)HAVE FUN!!!

Restart your computer, Minecraft is open somehow. Just restart it and try again.

This is what happens when try to mod… I did everything you told me to, but when I run the game, instead of the mojang symbol, there is just a black screen.

Trust me, when I first started the whole mod system, I had the black screen a lot, because I didn’t understand, but, now I know, and I am going to share what I know, with you:
(You may have to re-intall the mod, just in case)
Anyways, once you are into your minecraft.jar (It may not say .jar I know) you need to find a file named META-INF, and delete all of the files inside and the folder itself.
After you have completely re-installed, AND deleted META-INF, close those windows, and run minecraft and enjoy!

This mod when i place a rope.. not sure about bridge or sheets yet but the rope falls to the ground and then my game crashes O.o though the rei radar mod is doing fine

For some resin the whin i shot the “arrow with rope” will only extend 9 blocks from where the arrow landed. Why is this happening? and how can i fix?
I’m pretty sure that’s intentional.
that is as far as it can go because that is how much rope you use to craft a rope arrow

I mod Minecraft with MCPatcher, and when I do the mod, the items don’t show up.
Try modding manually. The mod probably isn’t compatible with MCPatcher.
Uuhm I did every thing u said, and I’m not new to installing mods… But it doesn’t work? Could i be the problem i already have other mods in it?
Yes, mods are often incompatible with one another. Try installing it on a fresh Minecraft.jar.
Heyy!! I absolutely love this mod!! I’m guessing it would be a lot to ask for bukkit support? I would definetly put this on my multiplayer server. Just a thought.

If you don’t have the minecraft.jar file, you don’t have Minecraft. Install Minecraft and then find it in the .minecraft folder in AppData.

looks great, but the only problem is requirement for modloader. modloader doesn’t work for no matter what link i use so i can’t use this mod or many others and this frustrates me a lot.

Not at the moment. Minecraft is being updated almost weekly and modders are having problems keeping up. Wait for a couple of weeks, a build will probably be out.
