Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Minecon has been rocking the Minecraft community hard. If you haven’t been following it closely, here’s a short recap of what went down on Minecon.
It all began with an opening keynote which began with a video about how it all began made by Haat Films, the guys that make all the official Minecraft trailers. Hosted by Minecraft Chick, Mojang’s newly hired Director of Fun, with a guest appearance by Capt Sparkles and the Mojang team, they talked about Minecraft, showed some videos while trying to get the crowd more pumped than humanly possible and finally, near the end, Notch pulled the lever to release Minecraft 1.0 to the world.
After that, Minecon opened, with all the panels, demos and goodies. Recapping everything there would be impossible, but here are some of the more important things:
- Playable X360 Minecraft version (which has a tutorial and recipes included)
- Yogscast Panel
- Mojang Developers Panel
- Scrolls and Cobalt presentations and demos
- Costume contest
- A guy proposed on stage
- There are a lot of awesome .gifs of Notch now.

That’s about it. Various Mojang members already said this needs to be done again, so it’s safe to say we’ll see another Minecon soon.

it was going to be 1.9 if it was still gunna be in beta so now its not and its full now :/
they changed the name
instead of calling the full version Minecraft beta 1.9 they called it Minecraft 1.0

Yes. The X360 version is separate, like the Pocket one.
Well judging from what I have seen on the iOS version you will probably have to buy the game again. But I think the online part will either use your xbox online or your original minecraft account.
They forgot the ‘incident’ between Notch and the Yogscast.

minecraft 1.9 was called 1.0 and it is the last update they will ever do so it is the end. they have also added a sort of story line to 1.0 its basicly a end. to do this all you have to do is make a portal to the end (end relm) wich is full of ENDER MEN and the epic colosil ENDER DRAGON just kill that it drops a portal along with a bunch of ep points and a dragon egg im not sure what that does…..but go in the portal he drops and then some werid stuff explaining minecraft comes up then the cresits and if your not a credit person just press esc and it teleports you to your spawn “happy days” hope this helps see ya
