Silly name, isn’t it – “Spitting Nova” – but what exactly is Mojang hiding behind that name, and should you care about it? The Scary Herobrine Mod
Many of you have probably already heard the myth of Herobrine, but for all of you not in the know, here’s a quick recap:
Herobrine is a very famous Minecraft myth. Herobrine is a supposed hidden mob in the game that stalks the players movement, watches him from the fog and is rarely ever seen. It has the player model and skin, just with creepy completely white eyes and a bit less saturated color of clothes. Even though the changelog for a lot of Minecraft updates said “Removed Herobrine”,
Creepy, right? Modder burnner_ agrees, but thinks the myth is not enough, as he created the Herobrine mod to scare you so bad you’ll ruin your new pants.

Evil Minecraft v0.666 – one of the most ridiculously large mods you’ll ever play
The Evil Minecraft mod has been in development for a long, long time. We’ve gotten teases for it and it’s had preview releases with some features implemented before. But now the (in)famous 0.666 version is finally here, and it has one of the biggest feature lists we’ve ever seen. The mod updates certain graphical aspects, game mechanics, adds new mobs, items and blocks and much, much more. After several hours of play, I kept discovering new things, so this article will probably just scratch the surface, but I’ll try to point out the biggest changes.

AtmosMobs – A creature mod with a twist
Creature mods are a big part of Minecraft’s modding scene. Mods like Mo’ Creatures add all kinds of new mobs to the game that improve the experience and add to the overall feeling of nature in the game. AtmosMobs is a mod currently in development by modder Daveyx0 and in Alpha state that expands upon the atmosphere of Minecraft by adding more mobs that just make the world feel more alive. As of the time of writing this article, the mod adds 16 new mobs, but since it’s still in Alpha, it will be expanded to include even more cool mods. Let’s take a look at all of them.
